The Science & Technology Entry Program (STEP) at New York University (NYU) is an innovative pre-college enrichment program for talented middle and high school students in New York City. Our goal is to encourage and increase the presence of historically under-represented groups in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM careers) and licensed professions.
STEP places students at the center of their learning process. This includes advising and counseling students in how to take responsibility for their own learning, and connecting abstract knowledge to studentseveryday experiences.
