As an Opportunity Programs student, you will have access to specially designed academic services throughout your tenure with NYU. As an incoming freshman, you are required to attend Pre-Freshman Prep in the summer and supplemental workshops during the academic year.

Workshops
During the academic semesters, you will participate in weekly non-credit workshops to help your better understanding the material covered in your credit-bearing courses. You can continue to avail yourself of these workshops as an upperclassman.

Tutoring
You are required to participate in tutoring which is readily available for a variety of subjects and course levels. You may seek individual help on a walk-in basis, by scheduling an appointment, or online.

Pre- Health and Science Unit
The Science Initiative is designed specifically to help those of you interested in pre-med and pre-health programs.

Career Exploration
We organize special programs that enable you to plan beyond college and consider your options for post-graduate studies or employment.

Test Preparation
Graduating students hoping to go to Law school or medical school may get special help from us to prepare for national exams such as LSAT and MCAT.
